I have been set up on autopay with Credit Card. Why is there a service fee now?
With the cost of fuel and materials rising, we’re feeling the effects. So if you continue to pay by credit/debit card, Paypal or Venmo there will be a 4% or $1.50 (whichever is greater) service fee charged to you for the transaction. This allows us to keep monitoring rates the same.
How do I avoid a service fee?
IF you want to avoid a fee, you may set up ACH on Autopay and we’ll cover the cost for you before your monitoring invoice is due, but you must set up the auto pay settings prior to the invoice due date of the invoice. NOTE this only applies to recurring invoices.
Why am I receiving more than one invoice?
With so many valued clients set up for autopay on credit cards, we’re giving notices earlier than usual and more frequently to allow you to change your payment method in order to not be charged a service fee. Inside the portal you can turn off invoice notifications and only receive payment notifications if you prefer. You can change this again at anytime.
I see you have a new address, is the old address still in effect?
The Bell Rd address is still in effect until late 2023 in order to give everyone time to update their records to the new address.
What are the service fees for my RECURRING monitoring invoices?
No charge if you set up ACH/EFT (electronic check) on autopay
No charge if you mail in a check payment
4% or $1.50 (whichever is greater) service fee charged to client for using credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Venmo
$1.50 service fee charged to client if you set up ACH WITHOUT autopay
What are the service fees for my ONE TIME invoices (ie Service Calls, Upgrades, New Installations…this is not recurring monitoring invoices)
No charge if you mail in a check payment

I’m having trouble navigating the new system, how can I get assistance?
We have tutorial videos on the main page that will help you navigate the system. In addition, after you Register for an account, there’s even more help videos and info for you. Still need help…call us at 602.493.0855 and press #1 for billing or email billing@thealarmcrew.com and we’ll be happy to assist!
What if the new system is not locating me?
The system can locate you easier if you type in 3 letters of your first or last name or if it’s a company name, the first 3 letters of the company. Then input a recent Invoice number. Not all of our clients are in the new system yet, but if you’re receiving this email, it means you’re in the system. Refer to your name and invoice number on the right hand margin of this email.
Should I register or just make a one time payment when I’m first visiting the new portal?
Always register and set up a password. This enables you to return easily and update your payment methods, view your invoices and payments, etc. Plus after registering you have access to even more help videos if you’re needing assistance with the system.
